I’ll See You In Heaven
Posted on October 15th, 2012 No commentsI lost a precious child fourteen years ago today. But instead of mourning for Jacob, I want to focus on the fact that he is sitting in Jesus’ lap today. That thought makes me smile. How can I be sad when he is with my Savior? No, I will smile today.

The Names of God:
1) God (Genesis 1:1)
2) the Creator (Genesis 1:1)
3) the Lord (Genesis 2:4)
4) God Most High (Genesis 14:18)
5) Sovereign Lord (Genesis 15:2)
6) the One (Genesis 16:13)
7) God Almighty (Genesis 17:1)
I especially like the sixth one. It really says it all, doesn’t it? It captures exactly who God is.
Did you notice I’m only on the 17th chapter of Genesis, and I’ve already learned so much? I’m telling you, going through one book of the Bible and focusing only on what you can learn about God is eye-opening.

Only God can comfort a bereaved mother. You are wise because you have lifted your eyes to the Lord knowing that your child is safe and happy in His keeping.
While thinking of your son you have not forgotten to post your journal. Thank you for the list of God’s names and references
I am on Genesis 5. I kept going back to the Garden of Eden since the middle of September. I just don’t know when I be able to get chapter 17 of Genesis.

Thanks for reading my post, Pelicanflies. It felt good writing it. I’m glad you enjoyed my list. I’m just taking my time, going through Genesis. I don’t want to go through it fast, for fear I’ll miss something. Just read when you can. You’ll be blessed every day that you do.
